Two Gaia Amir 4×4 Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAPs) ordered for the Philippine National Police (PNP) Special Action Force (SAF) have arrived for delivery, MaxDefense Philippines confirmed November.
“These vehicles were delivered to the PNP-SAF and are expected to be officially handed over in a private ceremony soon,” MaxDefense noted.
The 2 MRAPs equipped with assault ramp were acquired through Multi-Purpose Armored Personnel Carrier (MPAPC) and Accessories Acquisition Project of PNP-SAF.
