The ruble was 75 to the dollar in 2021. Oil exports have decreased by over 120 billion dollars I believe. Gas can't be exported as no pipelines and very few plants to produce LNG.

There has to be major consequences of how low the working force is going to be in the coming to years. So many dead, some people not capable of doing any work. Where do they get people to run the country. I don’t think putin really thought it through of his special military campaign.

It would be good to ask who bought the gold and foreign currency? And what was the agreed price? Surely some of the Russian billionaires and millionaires (through the companies they own or control) became even Richer than they were; Putin certainly included among them. This is how the war in Ukraine is widening the already huge gap between the few extremely wealthy and the millions of normal poor people in Russia
