What Mike Rowe won't tell you is these skilled Labor Jobs are $10-12 hr PT wages plus you have to pay for your own tools, insurance and training. So basically your making $5 an hour when its all said and done. Theres a shortage for a reason....

Why work hard for very little money doing a trade, when you can be a tv presenter & work very little for alot of money...talking about it.

I've literally searched for apprenticeships in plumbing and electricity countless times and scored the top of my entrance exams. Still didn't get the for 4.00$/hr apprenticeship.

Why TF people should work 160-200 hours a month for low wage salaries in hazardous environments when they could boil water on YouTube and get the same amount of money but have enough time to do something else.

Go get a STEM major at a university if you want a legit job. If you're not smart enough to do that, then you're probably going to be permanently unemployed soon.
