John Mellencamp is fed up with Rowdy fans at his shows. So, much so he stormed off the stage during a recent performance. Also, in a brand-new interview with the Washington Post John Mellencamp slammed fans for their rowdy behavior at his shows. John Mellencamp is making sure that his fans are clear that when they come to see him live, they better be on their best behavior.

People who were not at the concert are critical of the crowd, (so was I). It's many of the folks in his audience who were disappointed in his narrative. Somehow, all these years listening to his songs, we thought he was a different person than he revealed himself to be at this concert. As for me, if I go to a concert, or watch a football game, or gather at a friend's house for a celebration, I'm there for camaraderie and entertainment, AND to get away from the political chatter that is shrinking my brain. Why would an entertainer want to alienate over half his paying fans to express thoughts we could hear on The View?!! Yes, "Just Sing". It's why we came.

To be honest, the more disgusting part of it is that John called that guy the name that he did. There could have been younger people there, like maybe grandparents or parents who brought their kids or grandkids to see him. Who knows. But he couldn’t even keep etiquette in his shows on his part, he went all off the handle. He got all unhinged. I agree with those of you who said that maybe it’s time for him to retire and live off the royalties.
