About half the world’s population – 4 billion people – will have the opportunity to vote this year.

Countries around the globe face questions about reducing fossil fuel usage, adapting infrastructure and increasingly severe weather.

US climate envoy John Kerry joined BBC News to discuss green policy – and what’s at stake in the upcoming years.

Kerry will soon step down from his role to work on President Joe Biden's re-election campaign, officials have told US media.

The former senator and secretary of state, who held the climate role for three years, will reportedly be involved in promoting Mr Biden's work on combatting global warming.

How embarrassing for Kerry regarding his private jet usage around the world whilst spouting “climate crisis”

Man crosses Atlantic on jet to have chat about others taking jets to cross Atlantic to have chats. 🤦‍♂️If Kerry _really_ believed this stuff, he’d have Zoomed Christian, missus!

When a person moves from a developing country to a developed country, their carbon footprint increases by a factor of between 6 and 200.

I'd like to see him explain how there is a 'climate emergency'; how normal people's activity is the main contributor; and how their proposed solutions (which mostly involve the use of normal people's money) will fix it.

£100, 000K per household. That is the estimated cost of "going green". How do we propose to make lubricants, plant fertiliser, medicines, rubber, plastic etc from solar and wind power? anyone?!
