I've spent a lot of years battling with battery problems, trying different battery configurations, everything from Lead Acid to AGM and Lithium. I think I finally found what I think is the best battery system for my bass boat to power my trolling motor and all of my electronics, for days.

This hybrid Lithium/AGM battery system is bulletproof and it consists of a Group 31 AGM for running all of my pumps and starting my Mercury Optimax, a 315AH Dakota Lithium DL+ battery dedicated to my electronics, and 3x 12V Dakota Lithium, 135AH DL+ Batteries in series to run my 36V trolling motor.

With this system I have piece of mind that I will not run out of power on my trolling motor holding in strong current or fishing in heavy wind. I will not be caught in a position where I cannot start my engine. I will not have to worry about my 5x 12" screens, 2 Livescope transducers and Mega 360 not having enough power to last a 12 or 14 hour day on the water.
