Here is my October Update on Marvel's Agents of SHIELD Season 5. Let me know what you think of Disney's interference with the renewal of the show, as well as what you think of Hunter's return, and if you believe they should bring back Bobby as well.
Let me know as well what you think of the possibility it is SWORD or a variation of it rather than a Prison 42 arc and what you thought of the Inhumans Premiere.

It's the Kree in Season 5, the agents came 90 years into the future by the monolith where the Earth has been quaked apart (by Daisy Johnson somehow) while Fitz has been left on Earth in the present trying to bring 'em back.

The only pro about Inhumans is that we are getting Agents of SHIELD earlier.

Orville, considering it is basically a liighter hearted Star Trek, it actually isn't bad a all, and has some really good moments. Would not hope for a show to get cancelled that's for sure for the sake of one character.

Bobby might show up. Their shooting schedules probably don't fully conflict. I'd like to see Daisy make an appearance on Inhumans. Also, I'd like to see a Director Daisy arc on AOS.

I hope the Orville stays on air. It's a great homage to the golden era of TV SciFi.

I think the Inhumans did quite spectacular work since it was conceived, shot and posted in 6 weeks. Sure it is a bit rough. This is to be expected in such a tight turn around. I certainly want to see the interaction of the Royal Family on Earth meeting up with Earth based Inhumans and the haphazard way that their creation is occurring.

The Orville is really not that bad. And I am saying this as a huge fan of the TNG and DS9 shows, as well as someone who enjoyed the first episode of Star Trek Discovery. Discovery looks to me as a big step up from the previous shows, with more complex characters and a more serialized plot than following a "monster of the week" theme. They are completely different shows, with vastly different tone, yet I am enjoying both of them.
As for AoS, it was among my top 2-3 superhero shows every season, often coming first because I liked the writing and the humor better than the DC shows. No idea where season 5 will take it, but I'm already ready for some action.

My biggest gripe with THE INHUMANS is that in the first two episodes, there was a royal coop but there was no sense of dramatic urgency at all.When a coop is being done on a tv show there is lots of high tensity and fast cuts indicating something big and exciting is happening and not everyone might make it, but not in this show, just look at DESIGNATED SURVIVOR or any other political thriller show on tv??

It took me a while to get into Agents of Shield but now I really enjoy it. I'm willing to give the Inhumans a chance for that very reason.

I'm on the fence about how I feel with DISNEY, they may have saved AoS(which is a big yay for me) but they also pulled the trigger on MAA(MARVEL'S AVENGERS ALLIANCE FB GAME) and that game was much fun!To my fellow MAA Wallet Warriors...where you at nearly 2 yrs later???

Agents of SHIELD started from my filler series watching it only when I had nothing else to watch and has ended up at the top of my list since half way of season 2. I'm geniunly hyped for Season 5.
