I feel so sorry for Talbot. He just wanted to be a hero to his son. To his country. To his world.

In the timeline where Earth was destroyed Daisy was absorbed by Talbot who used her powers to crack Earth. Due to poor retaining of historical records Talbot's name was lost to history and the horrific event was blamed on Quake. In that timeline she couldn't defeat Talbot because the Centipede serum was used on Coulson. In the current timeline Coulson didn't take the serum and instead put it inside Daisy's gauntlets.

I'm sad that Talbot died like this. I liked him. Also, I really hope that serum is permanent, she is so freaking powerful now.

They really wrote Daisy well you can see her character development. But also how hard she tried to get through to Talbot.

She launched him away from her at a ridiculous speed. You can actually see the effect of him moving past the speed of sound (343 metres per second) when he's not much higher than the skyscraper. You need to be going at 40, 000km/27, 000 miles per hour to leave the Earth's atmosphere, (which takes 8 1/2 minutes). He might be superhuman but that's a some serious speed. Frankly I think a blow that does that would kill instantly. He was dead the moment she launched him. 8 1/2 minutes is a long time for him not to react. And none-of-the-above even taken into account that he might have been moving faster than a modern spacecraft.

Rewatching season 5 made me realize just how good this season actually was. Everything was set up from the very beginning. Coulson could put all the pieces together meaning the serum. And the kree beacon blows up the monoliths meaning they needed gravitonium and daisys power to seal the rifts but both are involved with the destruction of the planet. It was all put together so perfectly
