Mordin singing always makes me cry, but I was on a playthrough a few days ago and discovered something new. If you talk to EDI after Legion sacrifices himself she lets you know that the last thing he did was refer to himself as I, making sure that you know he reached self-awareness. That was a tough moment for me!

Sadly no mention of the Vigil conversation - the moment that all the stakes of the narrative are vastly expanded and heightened - when you meet the last remnant of the previous Cycle who tells you that all of their deaths were not in vein if only you can stop Saren and Sovereign. The smooth, calm explanation of how the Reapers have played countless Cycles of beings is heartwrenching, and fills one with newfound determination. You are now all of their hopes and sacrifices manifest, and if you fail, then everything they did was wasted.

Also every time Wrex or Grunt greets Shep! Garrus may be the best friend, but Wrex and Grunt are the bros!

Tali's loyalty mission. When we found her dead father and his recording. He just wanted to give his daughter a better life.

An underrated story arc for me was Jack’s romance with Shepard. It was the only time she was able to open up to anyone and let happiness and joy sink in.

Mordin flat out broke me. I had to quit playing for DAYS. I cried so hard that first time, I couldn't even breathe.
Also: I am strangely obsessed with how the planet in the Cerberus hideout changes color depending on your Paragon/Renegade score.
Reach and flexibility. Also, "I'm in the middle of some calibrations." DAMN IT, GARRUS!

Actually with Mordin singing isn't if you have enough Paragon points. He only sings if you unlock it in ME2. It is during one of his conversations you have the option of pressing him when he mentioned singing. He sings his "Scientist Salarian" song then and he'll do it again at the Shroud. If you don't unlock it, he'll say something about a new beginning for the Krogan.
