Brickit app brings life to LEGOS
Показать описание
There are nearly 100 LEGO bricks for every person on the planet. How many of the plastic pieces do Colin and Cole Alter have?
"Upwards of a thousand"
"5,452"
That's not a bad guess. And their parents, find them everywhere.
"In the bathrooms, in the playroom, in the kitchen. Have you ever stepped on one? Oh yeah. Barefoot? Ohhh yeah
The boys don't play with them a lot. I mean, look at this pile.
"I like to consider myself somewhat of a creative person, but I don't even know where to start with that pile of LEGOS"
Brickit is an innovative smartphone app that uses the camera and artificial intelligence to magically reveal the impossible.
Aiming the camera at the pile, Brickit scans and recognizes each piece. Then, digs through its database
so it gave me 243 ideas to do with these LEGOS.
It shows a photo of each thing you can build with what you have and which pieces you'll need.
what are we doing? a pelican, a red pelican
for some Lego fans, searching for the right piece is part of the fun
I don't think we've got that piece mom
But if you just can't find it in your pile, the Brickit app can find the pieces for you, zooming in to locate 8-flats, wedges, arms, and ladders
Oh right here, I found it
When you're done. Snap a photo and save it to your profile so you can tear it apart and do something else
So in the last 24 hours with the brickit app, the Alters have put together about a dozen creations with the app and I think mom and dad are enjoying it as much as the kids. And no one has stepped on one.
