My favourite ministry moments are when I get to interact with former sex workers, prostitutes, homeless people and drug addicts. If we avoid these people, God will hold it against us. Whatever we do for the least of these, we do for Christ.

During this time of quarantine, as I rock my baby before his nap, my heart aches for the children who are stuck at home with unloving parents. Children longing to be hugged, kissed or cared for at all. I am reminded of the Bible story where some children come to see Jesus and the disciples try to shoo them away. Then Jesus says, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.””

I really hope there is another episode with children. I think there are a lot of children in this world today who are longing to be loved by someone. I think seeing Jesus play and hug and love on some children could mend some aching hearts. 💕

A thought on the recent protesting theme.

As Christians we recognize, or should, that EVERY human being that ever was or ever will be, is an image bearer of the living God. As such EVERY life matters.

Holy Father l lift up to you all who do not yet grasp this truth. Holy Spirit l ask you to open their eyes, their hearts and their souls to the truth, the way and the light. In Jesus' holy and gracious name, Amen.

He said something about Christians getting worried about not getting too close to sinners so as not to slip and backslide which is very important. In attempt to win a soul over to Christ, we should be very careful because you know the devil is very cunning. Now this does not mean we should not talk to them but for us to do so, we should apply wisdom so that we don't fall.
Now Kanye west is claiming to be a gospel artist but we can't serve God and mammon. Jesus Christ as taught us that by their fruits we will know them. We can't hear you sing a gospel song and then your lifestyle portrays different. Let us be careful so we don't fall.
Apostle Paul warned that we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers not to hate them or avoid them but so that we don't fall in an attempt to bring them to Christ instead we should be careful in our approach so that we don't lose our salvation too.
In other words, let the Bible guide us, what is sin is sin what is holy is holy
Even if we deceive ourselves we can't deceive God who sees our hearts and hears our thoughts and is a discerner of minds.
All in all let's guard our salvation jealousy and in an attempt to be like Jesus who associated with sinners, let's be careful and pray for God's wisdom to guide us. May God help us all. Amen.

I am so thankful that Jesus still spends time with sinners, listening, watching and as soon as a heart is open, He goes and loves on that person. I am so glad that Jesus isn't set in conventional ways of man. Otherwise, I would have never known Him. He knows the hearts and He goes after the hearts of people. Oh He is Awesome and worthy to be praised. Jesus My Lord and My Saviour.
