2023 Trek Slash MUST WATCH BEFORE BUYING!
Показать описание
Trek trleased the 2023 Trek Slash, but whats Changed? Should you buy a Trek Slash now or wait until next year?
In 2021 Trek released the Newly Updated Trek Slash, and it won Enduro Bike of the Year.
It boasted changes like:
-increased travel from the old 150mm rear travel on the older frames to the current 160/170, and came specked with the new beefy ZEB fork.
They also added downtube storage, increased sea tube diameter, knock block 2.0, and longer Slacker geometry.
———
For 2023 all of this remains the same. How do you guys feel about that, COMMENT BELOW.
I think the Slash deserved a few geometry changes and upgrades | similar to what we saw on the fuel EX this year.

Now let’s talk about what they changed in 2023, and then we’ll get into my predictions for the future of the bike.

So what’s changed?
30 second version
For the 2023 Slash Trek:
- deleted two models
- Added some awesome new colors
- Beefed up the Slash 8 model
- And increased the prices on some models 😬
Deleted: one carbon model the 9.7 and one alloy model the Slash 7
Which I’m a little bummed out the Slash 7 gave entry level riders a better price point
But I should be happy they removed the 9.7 because… I guess technically I just got a 2023 Slash because online they just relabled the 9.7 as 2023 but it’s the same
New Colors:
Slash 8 - Pennyflake, Hex Blue
9.8 XT - Juniper Green, Baja Yellow
9.8 GX AXS, 9.9 XTR and 9.9 XX1 AXS - Juniper, Baja and Deep Smoke
Don’t judge these colors online. I’ll be heading to my shop next week and post videos in the future to show you what these colors look out in the sun where they bel.
Spec:
No longer specimens this bike with a Lyrik 35mm or Fox 36mm fork. All models come with a ZEB Ultimate, Select +, Select Slash 8
Flight Attendant, Airwiz what do you guys think?
My Prediction:
Next year we will see a release of a Slash-E and a new Slash that mirrors the how Trek just released the Fuel EXe ebike and EX!
Do you think I’m right? I guess time will tell, but let’s get into what changed this year.
