As a family, we used to go there every year, my parents set up a massive shoe stall for the week and we’d camp there or sleep in the van with loads of duvets, which was actually really cosy… looking back now I had a mint time and I am very grateful for the memories!

the 2019 show was wonderful from what I can remember of it. when I visited the 2018 one it rained a lot and by the time I went home I had to take my mud covered shoes off to get in my Dad's car

I went with an exhibit for several years but not been for 5 years or so. This video captured the atmosphere and took me back. Thank you, you've made an old man happy.

thought the great dorset stream fair was in october sometime, but its nice to see how every think was this year anyway thanks who evers putting it on you tube.thanks again got loads to watch later .

Great video guess you must of taken at least a couple of days walking round to get everything on there as I have been many times to the GDSF and always had to plan a day or two where I was walking round so I could get to see everything Its amazing how it has evolved over the years to the size it is now from when it all started off over 50 years ago at Stourpaine and I remember my father doing model railway displays with Poole and district model railway society in the early years Happy days!

This has a little bit of everything you would expect, and more, of a steam fair. This was a wonderful video showing some of what people used to use back in the day ! I enjoyed watching :-))

Thankyou for a wonderful video. It brings back some wonderful memories for me as I used to go there as a child with my late father. He used to drive a Foden steam waggon & a couple of times he did some ploughing with a Field Marshall tractor. I ❤️ the haulage in the arena nicknamed ‘the playpen’.
