Hi please can you tell me if the brightness setting dims the backlight? Or does it just make the screen dark coloured? Thanks!

Hello. I have a Philips 32pht4002/79 model, which since purchasing, seems to contain 'bugs'. For no apparent reason, I keep getting a message '0 SECONDS TO POWER OFF. PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE' which doesn't even make any sense. And after pressing a key the screen just goes blank!  All timers are set to 'Off', have troubleshooted with Tech Support and no one knows why it is happening. Also some recorded programmes will not respond to FF/FFB etc., very frustrating. So I'm taking it back to the shop tomorrow. Not happy.

Hello, I have the 32pht4002/79 model but cannot connect a soundbar to it

We purchased an LG sound bar do you know if it is compatible with this TV or not

And if so how do you turn on or enable the Arc cec feature on it
