"i'm an angry person and i hurt my kids, my work and everyone i love."

"oh, you're just my type."

such an underrated moment, one of my favourites.

I like that he tries to make her laugh. Fails and gets mad himself, but then she turns the tables and makes him laugh to appease him. A very endearing and cute dynamic.

I like how they become the middle-aged arguing couple from the beginning of Before Sunrise. They’ve come full circle.

In one of the other films, Céline talks about how good her parents relationship is that even after a huge fight, they will still laugh together.

It's so amazing how this movie manages to make all that was "dreamy" in the other movies turn into real life. They finally got into a long relationship, they grew older together, and life becomes REAL. Not perfect, but real. It's a bold statement to end this perfection of a trilogy.

The acting in this scene is phenomenal. The trilogy will always be on the top of my list of favorite movies.

It's real life. It's not perfect, but it's real

In the second movie, she attempts to touch his hair in the car when he is looking away but gives up, and in this scene she attempts to grab her purse from the floor and walk alway, but again she doesn't do it
And what amazes me is that if you're paying too much attention to the subtitles you can easily miss those frames (I did at first), but when you notice them you realize the "split second" decisions that the characters make in their relationship, beautiful.

I feel like someone should write a book about how this trilogy of films is like a wonderfully astute group therapy about all the things to do, and NOT to do with the one person you really love in this life.

Every time I feel trapped and misunderstood in my marriage, I watch this... And it reminds me how Jesse and my husband are alike. I'm also anxious as Celine about keeping up with my own ideals. You fall in love with the ideal of the person you marry and you feel like they are slowly fading away to become a completely different person. But in reality, they are the same person, but also different... Because that's reality. Ideals fade but true intent won't.

Just go watch the scene in Before Sunrise when Jesse asks Celine to get off the train with him and then come back here and watch this scene again. You're welcome.

The best thing about them from the first before sunrise to this one is that they never stop talking to each other. This is beautiful. Some couple hardly talks and forgot how to talk to each other, but two of them enjoyed so much of each other talking ~ loving ~ caring for the rest of their lives ❤

These films show us that we don't need many actors, places or special effects to create good stories.

It is easy to fall in love
But to stay in love, that’s difficult

What I love about this scene is that it calls back to the penultimate conversation Jesse and Celine had in Before Sunrise before she left, and how Jesse thought Celine would hate him after they get married because they would anticipate each other reactions or
and get tired of their mannerisms. Celine replies that that's the opposite for her - that she would fall in love if she knew the exact
story he would tell in a given situation. So when she calls him out for trying to do the time traveler BS again, she's indirectly realizing she loves him more.

I love how at time Célin's emotions take deep dives. Almost two times in this scene she is about to break down and cry but she doesn't. How intricate. Easy to miss but very important to make us feel connected to the character. How beautiful!

But if you want true love, then this is it, this is real life. It's not perfect, but it's real and if you can't see it then you're blind. Some of the most powerful dialogue ever put to film.
