I’m always surprised that people don’t talk more about Mick’s solos. I’m blown away anytime I listen to songs like Without You. Not hard to play, but impossible to write without being a genius.

I’ve been playing guitar for [does the math] 48 years and I could feel every note Mick Marz played in that solo. Every inflection, every bit of vibrato was on point. You can fake a lot but that was spot on. I saw the stadium tour in September when they blew through town. It was nice that the rest of the band could keep up with him but Mick’s playing was the highlight of the set.

Yep he's playing perfectly! Hitting all those pinch harmonics just like the fans expect like in the album version! How could any bandmate want more from him? He's one of my major influences back in the 80s for metal guitar. What a legend!
