Early in his career, Eastwood starred as the "Man with No Name" in A Fistful of Dollars, his first "spaghetti western," which was a box office success and drew attention to the young actor. Additional roles followed, including the role of Harry Callahan in five "Dirty Harry" films, beginning in 1971. That same year, he made his directorial debut with Play Misty for Me. Other noted Eastwood films include the Charlie Parker biography Bird; The Bridges of Madison County; In the Line of Fire; Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil; White Hunter, Black Heart; Absolute Power; Space Cowboys; Mystic River; Flags of Our Fathers; Letters from Iwo Jima; Gran Torino; and Invictus, starring Oscar® winners Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon in the inspiring true story of how Nelson Mandela joined forces with Francois Pienaar, captain of South Africa's rugby team, to help unite their country.

In addition these collections will include "Eastwood Directs: The Untold Story," This unprecedented new film focuses on Eastwood's directorial style as seen through the eyes of many of his producing partners and actors. It explores how Eastwood's style is unique and illustrates why he has managed to be successful for more than four decades.

I miss my father. But when I watch Eastwood I can feel a piece of him father's wisdom. He reminds me of him so much.

These people gave life to him, with food and flowers and acts of kindness.
For a man who's seen so much death, it's unnatural - and people don't know what to do with what they consider unnatural.

Casting is an artform in itself. This movie takes it to it's highest level.

I saw Clint one time while i was working at trader joes in 2017.. he was coming in with a older lady about his age and he came in to buy organic mayonnaise... two to be exact.. looks older an skinner in person..i wanted to say hi or take a picture with him, but i felt like i would bug him and i didnt want to do that... since we were far away from hollywood I figured he didnt want to be bothered like he would in the city... Monterey bay CA to be exact.

"You step on this property again, you're done", continues to care for him like the son he never had.

At 77, I've seen Eastwood since his early days as Rowdy Yates in the TV Western RAWHIDE...he has consistently grown in his craft...when he was young, I could never have imagined him playing a romantic role like he did in THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, and in this movie, he's perfection...

One of the funniest things about this movie to me is the fact the girl (forget her character's name) never even slightly acknowledges Walt using stereotypes and racist names right to her face. I think it definitely helps the movie otherwise it might get old her throwing a fit every time, but it just always stuck out to me as funny.

This movie speaks to the problems America face today. The nation is so obsessed with stopping any potential traces of “systemic racism” that it turns a blind eye to massive rise in crime. Ask yourself this: what’s worse, someone who innocently flashes an okay sign 👌🏻 Or someone who has a shoot out and kills a kid? Sadly most of the country will go after the former while the latter will never spend a day in jail.

People ally themselves with similar minds, it wasn't just about race.

This man personifies the idea of "minding one's own business". He never went around looking for people to push their culture on him. Those foreigners invaded his space and can't understand why he wants nothing to do with what they were offering. It seems they can't even understand his refusals except for the young girl.
