- Space Marine 2 has 2 display modes for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
- The quality mode has higher resolution, 30fps and better graphic settings such as shadows, reflections, textures, physics of fabrics or water among others. However, these visual changes are not very noticeable.
- Xbox Series S has some visual clipping below Performance mode on PS5/XSX, especially in some vegetation and ambient occlusion.
- Series S and PS5/XSX in Quality mode, show a locked framerate at 30fps with good stability.
- In Performance mode, Xbox Series X has a higher framerate than PS5 in the same mode. Both platforms suffer to maintain 60fps in stressful moments.
- The game does not use Ray-Tracing of any kind.
- The PC version features DLSS 2 only. DLSS 3 is confirmed to arrive later.

The graphic difference between PC and consoles at the beginning of the generation was almost non-existent, but little by little it becomes very palpable again. At least in this game, on PC it looks outrageous.

Series X with a 120hz VRR screen seems best way to play on consoles.

I hope devs support LFC on PS5 or performance mode would be unplayable on that console even with a VRR screen.

Why is the CPU usage so low on anything but the 4080?

4080 is at 50% usage, while the other cards are not even pushing double digits.

Certainly a bug with the OSD, no?

The 4080 seems to be 38% faster than the 4070 Ti Super, it's normally only 20% or so.

Weird to see so many Series S games target 1440p, even if they are rendering below, there’s a GPU and memory cost from reconstructing up to 1440p compared to the more commonplace 1080p. I do wonder if Microsoft has statistics on how many people have Series S’s plugged into 1440p monitors, letalone if Series S is plugged into more 1080p or 4k TVs?

Series X + vrr and gonna feel like 60 buttery. I hope they patch PS5, cos mid 40s is ridiculous when elsewhere is above 55.

Appreciate the content, but I don't understand the decision behind testing out 4 different cards with a mix of settings? It's really hard to get a good idea of how the game performs without settings parity. DLSS and in-game settings need to be the same for every card. Cheers.

The xbox SX quality and performance mode looks blurrier then the PS5 versión. 8:26 If you look closely you'll notice the differences.

Damn the PS5 Performance mode doesn't look good. Most of the time the frame rate is below the VRR range on the PS5. If it was a bit better and wouldn't drop below 48 but preferably 50 then it wouldn't be such a problem, if you have a VRR compatible display of course.

Game is significally more stable on XSX in performance mode. Look great on codoles.

DLSS FSR techs have really ruined games. All of the footage looks so blurry. Older games looked much sharper even at lower resolutions.
