How to Unclog a Drain

Learn how to unclog a bathroom sink drain as fast as possible. There are no distractions in this video!

Place a tub or pan under the pipes to catch any water. Unscrew the pivot rod then remove the pop-up stopper. Clean the pop-up stopper. Unscrew the sink trap from both ends then using a long tool, push out any debris in the drain. Use the faucet to help wash away the excess and test the flow. Rinse out the sink trap then reinstall it under the sink. Put the pop-up stopper back in the sink in the correct orientation and reinstall the pivot rod so that the lever correctly moves the pop-up stopper up and down. Dry off the sink trap then test the sink and check for leaks.
