WATCH: All 5 living former presidents gather to pay tribute to Carter | Carter Funeral

All five living presidents — Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden — attended former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral at the Washington National Cathedral, paying tribute to the longest-living commander-in-chief.

Four first ladies, as well as current Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff, also attended. Former first lady Michelle Obama was not in attendance.

President-elect Trump did not attend former President George H. W. Bush’s funeral in 2018, though all the other living presidents at the time, including Carter, did attend.

The official state funeral in Washington on Thursday caps a long farewell that began — and will end — in his hometown of Plains, Georgia. Carter died Dec. 29 at age 100.
