LeMahieu should be DFAD because at this point the roster spot is more valuable and the Yankees need a competent hitter at the third base position The contract was a mistake and unfortunately the Yankees can add LaMahieu to Hicks, Donaldson, Rizzo, Severino, Pavano, and Ellsbury as poor high cost contracts that the Yankees had to eat.

For yall Michael King fans, he starts against the O's this Sat. Lets hope he has another good start, we need the O's to continue to lose and we gotta pray that we begin to take advantage of said loses. Hoping the Yanks make some SMART moves, not the biggest block buster trades @ the deadline. Make smart moves. A lot of holes to fill on this team. Not sure if we can make it happen @ the deadline and im worried were relying too much on Stanton coming back and staying healthy. I wouldnt bank too much on Stanton just because of his health. Also remember when he comes back from injury he usually is cold at the plate. Takes 2+ weeks to see him start really hitting again. So dont expect instant results when he comes back. Also for yall Martian fans, we got a small sample size of him. Dont bank on him being any better than Verdugo. I think he will be, but anything with this Yank organization is possible hahah!

So my point is the deadline is important, as much as these players coming back. But we cant rely on Stanton coming back and hitting right away, and staying healthy. Cant rely on Martian coming in and hitting .300. What we do at the trade deadline is what will make or break this team right now. Were still a bit off from see Stanton back and maybe... mid Aug we see Martian. Effross is still not back. Etc.

These are 2 trades id be game to see Yanks make. But this cant be all we do, luckily we should be able to attain these two without giving up Spencer Jones or Martian.

Jazz from Marlins. Put him @ 2b. Put him leadoff. Replace Torres. Yanks need a lead off hitter and they need to replace the error leading 2nd baseman Torres. Facts.

Scott from the Marlins. Hes our new closer. Dont have to rely on Holmes and him giving us heart issues every time he pitches. He can go into BP in the 7th or 8th inning spot. Anywhere, but closer role.

That right there in 2 moves, solves important positions we lack. But we cant stop there. Luckily as i said those trades dont require us getting rid of Martian or Jones.

I'm not saying the Mets will go to the WS, I don't think they can beat the Phillies tho, but to think that they will just because they swept the Yankees is pretty lame!!

Deal-of-the-Year for METS is already Stearns stealing Maton for ZERO players and only a check. METS can win as-is. Yankees are a different story. But, they can still win WS too...Just make the Playoffs and take it from there

John Hayman are so far from the truth. Clay Holmes is not a closer. He stinks as a closer maybe a set up man but not a closer they need a big facelift on this team third basement first base second basement left field bullpen. You must get rid of Verdugo and put Dominguez there for the rest of the year Spencer immediately.
