Dime used a lot of gear. His typical setup included a Randall amp, two EQs, one pedal and one in his rack, an overdrive, wah, a whammy pedal and of course a noise gate to reign in all the insanity of his high gain tone. He would scoop the amp while boosting the mids and highs with his EQs, which led to an insanely high output and feedback that gave him an incredible amount of sustain.
