Back in the day, when it was unbearably hot, we would soak our calves & feet in cool water & at night we'd drape a damp towel across us with the fan on. We didn't have A/C. It helped more people than one might think!

I used to dread summer because I just couldn’t deal with the heat and humidity. Then during the pandemic, I bought a small pool (only 2’ deep and 10’ across). I also built a tiki hut bar, lol. Now I can’t wait for summer! Just having the opportunity to dunk in some cool water makes all the difference.

Southwestern Florida here, and while we aren’t too talked about, we’ve still been having monster storms for the past month, and there was a really bad one last night during one of my indoor soccer practices, with heavy rain and lightning/thunder really close by
