Ok first of all, LA HIKES ARE REAL HIKES TOO OKAY!? But also, y’all came through with some valid points about ticks and poison ivy and I was like - let’s serve the granola girlies who are venturing through the treacherous terrain! Our worlds may look totally different, but that’s not gonna stop me from putting myself in your hiking boots and trying to solve for your problems.

I’m so excited to share with you my new ✨Take a Hike Overalls✨ that I just released on @popflexactive!

These are my dream outdoor overalls…

You’ve got the functionality of the scratch resistant, water resistant fabric along with pockets galore.

But then you’ve also got the body contouring princess seams, the snatched waist moment, and the elegant curved straps.

It’s function and fashion all in one. It’s peak granola couture.

My overalls come in XXS - 3X in 3 lengths: Regular, Tall, and Extra Tall. I’m 5’5” wearing S in Regular.

I’m so happy to be expanding my hiking range! BTW - the hiking skort was NEVER a mistake (though it seemed like that to some people). I love it so much. It sold out wildly fast several months ago and just restocked, so go grab it if you enjoy bare leg hikes like me!

I’m glad you guys are vocal about your needs because it opens my mind to solving for different problems I’m not presented with in my daily life. But please remember to not invalidate anyone’s experiences because they’re not similar to yours.

Since people are worried about ticks going under the wide leg pants, maybe you could make them have a scrunch under, like make the scrunch be hidden by the wide leg so it looks cute but still keeps ticks away❤

Slim fit at the ankles is a lot more practical for outdoors so if you make another version of these I would love that option! The baggy bottoms seem easy to get caught on things. Also a lot of waders have a hidden zipper pocket behind the top of the overalls sitting around your chest and I’d love to see your take on that. You’re so creative and I love that you take people’s feedback into account!!

This is great, but a few pointers as someone who literally lived on mountain and had to wear utility jumpsuits for a decent amount of time: 1) drawstring or a fitted leg for multiple reasons one of them being wear and tear (and as many have mentioned insects), 2) if that’s a garment to be worn over things, make the top part mesh or very breathable. Mountains change weather very quickly and frequently so you dress like an onion to keep your core temperature warm, but all that layering means you get sweaty easily which will cool you significantly once you take layers off and put them back on again. Basically just keep ventilation in mind, particularly on the back and under the boobs. 3) more of a practical thing also to do with sweating but depending on how breathable that fabric is (regular utility jumpsuits usually aren’t and they can feel like an oven in summer and most water resistant fabric is not designed to let in a lot of air) maybe put in an option to shorten the length of the pants with drawstrings or some kind of clip. This is also more practical for crossing shallow water where you would remove hiking boots (please wear boots with appropriate hardness for you and enough ankle support). 4) if possible make the straps adjustable for people with different body shapes but also to be able to adjust for layers worn underneath.



Addendum: since this has somehow become more visible, small PSA for the non-hikers from a friend of mine at the mountain rescue: please know your limits when hiking or mountaineering (trails are often marked by difficulty so please pick the route that you can handle), check the weather report and adjust accordingly, bring appropriate gear for what you are doing and the weather you’re expecting, keep hydrated, follow trail markings and signs (if a trail is closed, DON’T try to go there and don’t go off-road unless you’re very experienced in that area, you’re probably going to get lost) and don’t blindly trust hiking apps or Google maps and lastly bring your phone and tell someone where you are going (makes it much easier to find you if you get lost and you’ll have a flashlight).
Sorry if that was overly preachy but every year hundreds of people require rescue services in the mountains and dozens die partially due to poor planning, so please be safe ❤️

I would absolutely buy these if they had a closed, fitted ankle! Helps keep the bugs and plants out, less of a tripping hazard, fits inside hiking boots, and no one wants the dreaded wet flare pant legs of the 90s and 2000s 😆

This is perfect design, but some drawstrings on bottom for those of us who wear boots and/or prefer it at the ankle would be nice. Can't wait til you release more colors than black and pecan to buy!! I personally wear bright or reflective colors when out on a hike. Absolutely love your work and effort ❤

Extremely cute!!! But i don't think they would be as useful and user friendly as you hoped... They either need a drawstring in the bottom seam of the pant leg or an extra lining on the inside with elastic because bugs will climb up you shoes or just up under the pant leg. Also the super flare isn't very practical for things like hiking, horse back trail riding, walking in the tall grass, ect... a straight leg or boot cut version would be better suited for those of us who would use them for things.

Amazing concept. Hope they improve soon. People found there was a lot of pilling in between the thighs and I agree with maybe a hidden ankle layer where you can tighten/tuck into socks to ward off bugs.

You simply do not understand how much I need thisss
The detail that sold me are the fitted pockets for the stuff I don’t want flying around like my phone + the cargo pockets for energy gels and the like.
As a running girlie through and through, I can see myself wearing this with biker shorts underneath to avoid chaffing and stuffing those pockets for a whole day out on the trail! I simply love it!!

Oh my god, I’m 100% buying these when she comes out with a drawstring version. These are my dream pants, exactly the kind of thing I’ve been looking for for my hikes this summer. The only question I have is about how breathable or cool the fabric is, because it gets crazy hot here and I sweat so easily 😭

I absolutely love the idea of taking the style and cuteness of women’s clothing, and combining it with the functionality of men’s clothing! I am sick and tired of having to give one or the other up when shopping for clothes, so I always love when brands make stuff that’s cute and functional.
