I actually went out to pick up a Ditto Looper this weekend and the sales guy completely talked me out of it. He stated that if I was to buy the Ditto, I should also pay for the replacement plan because they were seeing so many of these crap out from failing switches. Had to appreciate his honesty. So, I went for the Boss RC1, and he stated, no need for a plan on that one. LoL!

Ditto 2 is looping for lazy people (that would be me)! in a live situation, this pedal is butter. I'm in a 3 piece and I'm the singer as well, when you are going from the chorus to the solo and you have to hit the looper and get over to your overdrive all in one shot and stop the looper at the end, turn a pedal off and get back to singing, this is a handy pedal. sound quality is very good.

Thanks for a great video. I have the JamMan Solo XT working together with the Digitech Sdrum. Just fantastic loops with killer drum patterns.

Beautiful comparison video!

In a perfect world, I'd also like to see the EHX720 added to a future comparison.

Digitech JamMan is very complex, gives you much more possibilities. But you have to spend many hours with instruction and instruction is not very good written. But JamMan is true beast looper station

The Digitech JamMan is more versatile, has more features and is the best value for money.

On the Jamman XT series there is no "global setting" for the looper's functions... there are several settings: how a loop ends when double-clicked off ("end-fade" "end-instant" "end-of-loop"), whether the rhythm is turned on or not, recording sequence (Rec-Play-Over / Rec-Over-Play)...  BUT NONE of these can be permanently set in the firmware, they will reset to factory defaults every time the looper is turned on... these settings must be changed for a specific saved loop, they cannot be set for live looping... apparently very lazy and unimaginative people designing loopers over at Digitech (who apparently don't do much live looping)...

I got jamman solo xt and must admit at first I was clueless how the heck use it but in about 30 minutes of studying you actually are able to set this fucker up for whatever you want. I recomment that for sure. (one thing you might need a noise gate for autorecord distorted phrases.. sometimes it catches buzz and starts right after being armed)

Is the Digitech Solo XT audio quantization? What other pedal do? (e.g. the rc-5)
