Jeremy Hunt jokes about calling his wife Japanese

Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt joked that his biggest diplomatic challenge was coming home to his Chinese wife after referring to her as Japanese. Report by Ferdia Carr.

That slip was a disaster. 😅The Japanese massively tortured the Chinese (including civilians) during the war. The Chinese have not forgiven the Japanese! Why? Because the latter refused to apologise for their war crimes. Zero apology. It’s strange that the Japanese, for example, paid compensation to the Koreans for atrocities committed against their women, but again, they would not offer the basic apology for which sex-abused Korean survivors and their families fought hard.
