Graphics card, memory, ssd and possibly CPU will all need upgrades in order to play the game on max settings comfortably, it seems, but with us being pilots and not PC enthusiasts, oversights are likely to happen. Linus Tech Tips did cover this in a recent (last week) livestream conversation - all the gamers are flipping over a 30 FPS frame rate, and are constantly needing to be reminded that simulators don’t need high frame rates to display as intended 😂

Guru3d did a good breakdown article of what seems to work best with the sim based on currently available hardware.

I own a gaming laptop a Dell G3 15 but tonight flying over London it struggled and stuttered. Especially on landing, I really enjoy the 20 20 sim and have no interest on any other game, other than RC helicopter sim. but think I may have to build a machine for the MFS 2020 sim.. Never done that before but reasonably technical with two PC clever sons, which I passed on your video to tonight to look at. Just wondered what you think I would need to spend to get a PC to run Did you buy it all as a kit from one supplier? Just noticed your list of components

Wow! Congratulations in your FS2020 build! Do those saitek panels work for FS2020?

Unless you had one on your ankle, next time you build, you might like to use a static wrist strap, cos if you zap your processor, you won't be happy mate.

How many fps do you get now? I have an i7 9700k, with an RTX 2070 super which can do about 50fps ultra settings at 1080p but I dont know how it compares. I'd presume it's really good though!

Couldnt help but notice you didnt apply thermal paste on the cpu. You chose death for your pc?
