My dad bought a new one in 1967 and I took it to my senior prom. My date loved it and we had a great time. Oh and we ended up getting married. Must have been the car. Now we have grand kids. Thank you dad and Chevrolet. True story by the way.

My first car was a '68 four door, built like a tank.
This '67 is a real beauty & the work put into it is most admirable ! 👍👍

I grew up admiring a 1967 Impala that belonged to my neighbor's late husband. After he died, she left it parked in their carport where he'd left it. I got really butt hurt over that car too. I visited with her and helped her around her property all the time and the car was regularly a topic of discussion. I told her how much I loved it and that I would love to have it someday if she ever decided to part with it. She told me when I was old enough she would sell it to me as my first car, and would make sure it was in good working condition first. Evidently she didn't mean it, though. She did get it fixed up and running again, but I noticed it was gone one day while she was still at home and I went over and asked her about it. She admitted that she sold it to someone who showed up with cash in hand. I immediately got upset and started crying and told her how I'd been saving my money for years thinking she was going to sell it to me, and she basically said she was just trying to be nice to me and didn't really want to sell it to a kid anyway. I called her a phony b*tch and never spoke to her again.

Beautiful build, man. That must must have been a great feeling of accomplishment the final product and keeping the original drivetrain which is perfect. Cheers from Canada.

This is a beautiful impala you have. My father has a 67 impala like this one, actually was his first car. It now sits unregistered, never driven, rusting out as I write this comment. I'm hoping he will restore it one day like he keeps talking about. Very nice car.

Nicely done Ryan. I would love to find a '67 Impala. My father had one back in the 60's. Butternut yellow.

I purchased a gold 67 Impala 2dr with a 327 in 1980 for $350. No rust, nice paint and nice clean original interior . The catch was it had a dent it the rear driver side quarter panel just behind the drivers door and the door wouldn't open. I pulled the dent and got the door working and the panel ready for paint . With the exception of that section of the panel in primer the car was in awesome condition for a 13 year old vehicle at that time. I was 18 and hard up for cash and sold it for $500 . I thought I did good making a $150 profit. LOL . And I have been kicking myself in the ass ever since.
