I have a family member that speaks negatively so often about their offspring in a day and time that I try to remain as positive as possible I can no longer allow them to sort of infiltrate my mind by me listening to their negative focus on the negative thoughts I am so happy to be able to listen to the meaning of UBUNTU it will help me in speaking to my family member about acting kind and being kind. We have to be intentional about focusing on the positive and reduction of negative thinking I do like the idea that you can address the feelings thoughts and emotion and through mindfulness exerted to breath and release yourself of the emotion and get back to positive focus (I typed my comment without punctuation’s or proper grammar I just wanted to get my thoughts out)

All the people in the comments complaining about him being white. I think we can safely say you missed the point of the video and are part of the problem.
He is actually from South Africa and a traditional healer. Ubuntu isn't just for people of colour, it is a philosophy and way of life or thinking about / viewing the world.
Also, since this video is about speaking out against prejudice and racism, it's directed more at educating people with prejudice. It's probably a little helpful (as sad as it is) that he is white. Not to sound all white saviour and all, but do you think a pack of racists would even sit through a video by a POC?

Beautiful words and sentiments. Kindness goes beyond arguments of race and colour - something that everyone can practice. Such a shame it’s been hijacked by the racist card warriors. This practice can be used by anybody irrespective of culture. I think everybody can say they have some prejudice and everybody can experience racism or discrimination. This speaks of opening and relating from the heart.

Cringey white guru vibes. Is he really telling people he’s the one to teach them how to be ‘leopard warriors’? The most noteworthy aspect I’ve heard about ubuntu is the philosophy of interdependence, but he makes it about prejudice? 🤔
