🇮🇳 India: Monsoon floods, landslides kill dozens in Kerala state | Al Jazeera English

At least 37 people have died in the worst floods in 100 years in the southern Indian state of Kerala and more than 30,000 have been displaced.

Days of torrential rain has caused dams to overflow and more than half the state is now on high alert.

I have been to this part of India when I was in India for business trips...and that was also around the Monsoon times. Just as any other part of India, the noise pollution is absolutely horrible... Every vehicle is constantly beeping at each other, even for no reason. I think these people can't hear those frequencies anymore.... Also the traffic/infrastructure was very bad!! Even war torn Iraq has better infrastructure!!

Besides that, the visits were pleasant! Local food is spicy unless they custom make it for you. There are lot of wildlife Conservation in this state, and it was great to see the elephants, etc... roaming the islands, etc... Two very big thumps up for the state for their Conservation efforts. I hope to return someday!

Indian should spend some money on china's sides to stop the water flow cross the indian-china border, for example to build some dams free for china or divert all the river flow to north and flow back to china, lol. China wouldn't mind the freebies.
