these cityscape shots are some really cool wallpaper material. hl2 isn't really often surrounded in modern cities regarding the seven hour war... tho it is possible that most or all would be under combine control after earth's lost of military and general defeat, it like something you would see in a melancholic cinematic movie. very well done
