How different people open Christmas presents

I’m a mix between the super neat, pocket knife, and excited. In the past, I have used my pocket knife to open stuff

My grandma was always the "unwrap it in tack and save the paper" kind of person (no idea why, seemingly she never reused paper), but I'll never forget the year she took it a step further.
My grandma LOVED WWE. Yes, I had a wrestling loving grandma. Well just two weeks before Christmas my mom and I were out shopping, and I spotted WWE Christmas paper. I decided we simply HAD to get it for grandma, which we did.
When I tell you she didn’t even want to UNWRAP the presents because she didn't want to ruin the paper, I'm not exaggerating. We had to convince her we had more at home before she would even risk ripping the paper, and she took a good 10min+ to open each gift. It was actually really sweet to see how much she loved it, like a kid with their gifts wrapped in their favorite character.

One of my worst moments was when I was 8 years old and my mom saved up and bought me a nail polish set, but I was very ungrateful and bratty. I want to go back in time and smack myself because I know it hurt her feelings and I still remember it to this day because of how guilty I felt. Never be the selfish one when you receive gifts

And then there's the Dad collecting the wrapping paper just ignoring his stack of presents that's about to fall over 😅

My family ALWAYS unwraps it neatly so we can reuse the paper, which is fine most of the time (I do have to resist the temptation to rip open the paper once in a while) but kind of funny when you’re opening a gift and notice that it says “Merry Christmas 2018!” in sharpie 😂❤
