Ride along with our vehicle designed to carry astronauts as it accelerates from 0-100 mph in 1.2 sec during a critical Pad Abort Test earlier this month

Now play the video in reverse and you'll get Dragon V2 landing on its rockets.

You guys need to put a 360 degree camera in one of your seats so we can experience riding in this beast inside VR.

New Tesla Crash Avoidance System.

1 meter before a crash would happen, you are already 100 meters above the scene.

I imagine for an astronaut that would simultaneously be the fastest and longest two minutes of your life

I watched this twice. So incredible. I love the acceleration, how quickly you see the ground recede away, and the feeling of amazing power. Oh and a nice view... Great job guys!

0 to 100 in 1.2 seconds? Looks like Tesla's got competition ;)

Edit: I know, that's the joke everyone 👍🏾

I like SpaceX's naming scheme.

Squad should partner with SpaceX for 5 meter parts.

Beautiful job sequencing those mains! That is a difficult task, especially from low altitude and that capsule just kissed the waves beautifully...

Now that was cool. Best video yet of the pad abort.mid still like to see a view from the inside of the dragon, maybe the dummy's view during pad abort. Keep up the awesome work SpaceX!

The way the capsule separates is so eloquent vs. the Orion design.

Nearly six years later, and thankfully you guys haven't had to use the system. Still good to know that it works.

Here in 2020, post Demo-2. So cool to see how far this has come, and that this system wasn't needed!
