Hey Motion Twin,

Finally played Dead Cells last night and I just wanna say that this is a real gem of a game.

The only other metroidvania rouge-lite game I've played has been Rogue Legacy and I'm sure there are others out there, but this game has really made me realize how much I love pixel art as a medium and as a style of game making.
Dead Cells is very limited in what you can add in various aspects because it's a fast-paced combat game, but from what I've seen from just the first level, or 'dungeon', and a little beyond that, you've done an excellent job to show that this world is inhabited and has history behind it.
I also very much enjoy the quick little bits of humor entwined in a dark fantasy story. It's always a joy to encounter it.
I'll be subbing to your channel. I want to see what other ideas you have in the future, whether I buy the game or not.
