I own a 6 string Horizon in see thru-black sunburst...i have to say though, this will definetly be in my collection at some point. ESP's Japanese models are top notch. Im not a 7 string player but this 7 string is everything I want in a guitar.

I one ESP Ltd with ESP 607 and 707. It needs special boosting compared to all my other 7 strings. I like the DiMarzio Drop Sonic 7, Blaze, and the What ever the model is in my EBMM JPXI7 string.

I bought this one and don't regret it one bit. The choice was between this and an Ibanez. In my opinion, this one has all the advantages over the Ibanez. The Ibanez has a flatter fingerboard for lower action and faster playing but you can play fast with this, too, of course. And the rounder fingerboard makes chords more comfortable than the Ibanez. AND the Edge Zero tremolo on the Ibanez has issues. ESP all the way for me.

Love the looks of this guitar and i'm looking forward to get one of these as my first 7 string guitar, but as i read the specs on this guitar i't a "U" neck shape. i've always owned 6 string "C" neck shape guitars... how does it feel? does the neck shape affect your playing in terms of confort/speed, barred chords and extended shape chords? Thanks beforehand.

Might be a odd question. But how does this instrument work with alternative genres besides metal? Can it play through clean tones with a lot of affects?
