1996 C4 Corvette LT4 Acceleration

A small pull with a LT4 Corvette. Stock Engine with bolt on upgrades. CEL is from 02 sensors

-4.10 gears
-Vortex intake
-exotic muscle Longtube Headers
-Tri-Flow exhaust 3" with off road X pipe
-MAF upgrade
-Air Foil
-Hypertech tune

Retired in '17, started searching for an LT4 that wasn't beat up. Found one w/50k in Florida. Flew down and bought it, drove 850 miles home. What a fun car to drive. Long legged rascal.

My dad had a Lt4 car back in 97, Red on Black. It had low miles and was a great car. Lots of memories my Senior year with that car.

I've had a lot of performance cars over the years, but my 1996 Collector Edition LT4 always brings a smile to my face when I think about it. I built it into a 388 stroker with a complete hand rework on the heads. After all was said and done, and managing to find someone who could tune with LT edit, it put down 415 hp at the wheels. Not overwhelming by today's standards, but with it's relative light weight it was a blast to drive. I also went to a single mass fly wheel, which added a whole other interesting element.

Might not be the quickest Vette but those 4th gens are the best looking and sound so great. Fast for the time though!

Thinking about putting the Heads kit and studs from this year corvette with some nice long tube headers and nice exhaust should be nice
