Wendy's announced a new pricing strategy called dynamic pricing. It will allow menu prices to change throughout he day based on market conditions. What do you think? Is it a good idea?

We have so many mom and pops shops that make great food that won't "dynamically" change the price that a lot of people will go down the road this will only work for people trapped in a place they dont know. If I pay more for the same quality of food at a Wendy's that I frequent thats also going to be a problem as we all know fast food is shoty and is hit or miss with freshness and food quality over all so serving cold fries and food will also just piss people off. I hope this fails and ai stops being used like this. Support your local food spots that aren't Wendy's, McDonald's, and any other corporations that use this predatory means of over charging for the same product that has actually gotten worse over time not better.

Doesn’t matter if consumers like it or not if it’s profitable enough for other companies to adopt it. No one likes shrinkflation, the lowering of quality or collection of personal data, yet we’ve seen it all happen.

The only reason to do this is to raise prices at peak hours, and at whim. We can't excuse every garbage idea as "free market" or "consumers can choose not to go". Part of the problem with rent is rental companies used AI to determine pricing, and since enough companies follow suit, rent is out of control. There is nothing "free market " about this stuff. Its pure greed.

I don't drive so not many more options than Wendy's unless I want Krispy Kreme for lunch, lol or want to walk an extra 7-10 minutes each way.

That said, I'd rather just stay home and eat ramen before I spend over $1.89 on their crispy chicken sandwich

They would have to all do it at the same time or whoever tried doing it first would loose so much money. People aren’t paying double for McDonald’s because it’s busier. And if they do they should stop being stupid and make dinner and lunches. Wendy’s isn’t even good anyways 😂
