Powering TS100 using ZY12PDN USB PD trigger Failed

I was trying to use ZY12PDN with my TS100 soldering iron. Im unable to make it work.. Tried different cables and Adapters and can't make it work.. I think that modul is the broken.

Your charger isn't a pd charger, a pd charger has usb c on both ends. The charger you are using has qualcomm quick charge (diffrent protocol) and thats why its working with your powerbank that supports both usb pd and qualcomm quick charge.

If you buy a usb pd charger with usb c outlet and a usb c lead with c connetors on both ends the trigger will work. Also usb pd chargers always says PD somwhere on the specifications on the charger, your's dosen't.

the mains adaptor is not a PD adaptor only quick charge, however, you have a PD power bank, did you not try to power the iron from the power bank? the power bank should work as its a PD power bank, , press and hold the button on the module and then plug in the USB cable, and it will flash, press the button on the module until you find the voltage you need for each light colour change represents the volage 5v, 9v, 12v, 15 v 20v depending on your power bank u should get from 5v to 12, not all can give 15 to 20, it should then work,

Please refer the other user yt.. the have success tp use the pd trigger.. before u change th voltage u mus click it about 2, second and release th cable.. fter that put it back. Anda wala it's work.. i have same problem like u and problem came with how long u click that button after y choose th voltage.

Same problem, but for some reason it works with the xiaomi turbo charger with original turbo cable. That's USB A to USB C.

when using other cables, doesn't work; other chargers, also doesn't work.

But it works when using USB c to c with PD charger. PD charger with USB A to C cable also doesn't work, only xiaomi turbo charger works with USB A to C.

crappy device for a dozen euros, the voltage does not adjust to more than 5V even after replacing ten cables with a power bank or type C electric charger
