Peachicks and Peahens | Peachick Sounds

Peachicks (young peafowl) and Peahens (adult female peafowl) out and about looking for food. You can hear Peacocks (adult male peafowl) calling in the background at 0:36. You can also hear the ever present sound of the Peachicks cheeping and chirping as they follow their mother.

Very nice! It's peachick season here, and I'm lucky enough to have these adorable creatures come right to my door. Usually the peahens with chicks are not social to humans, scolding us and storming away. But this hot summer, they have been walking right up to me for a drink of water and some food. I spent a half hour this afternoon sitting on my front porch as the little chicks ran aound me, hunting for the seeds and crumble that I had dropped for them. I was mesmerized! One hen still scolds me, ironically that's the one roosting in the tree in my back yard.

This is the best peahan and peachicks video that I have ever heard! And I play it for my Incubator lock down peafoul eggs right before they hatch! I don't like the recordings that just have music, and then peahen sounds in the background at all because you can't hear it like it really is suppose the sound like.
