The last episode of the year gave us hope and emotion!!!! Halil so patient, truly to his feelings, not betraying himself! Zeynep letting herself flow, forgetting her anger and discovering another Halil adding more respect and love to him!!! By far the BEST episode of the season. When Halil finally learned that Zeynep was not the traitor and that she was covering for the sake of his sister it was like a dream come true… and then just when I thought it could not get any better Zeynep went and put on the dress and went to the hotel. OMG - I had tears running down my face. Let’s pray that the writers keep this up.

This is the best overall episode in season 1 and 2 even with the wedding because the overcame their internal obstacles, saw the truths the other had vehemently swore to and mostly Halil for suggesting following their hearts, especially Zeynep, but Halil to an extent too seeing that all he had accused Zeynep of was false as well. It was beautifully written, wonderfully directed/orchestrated and superbly acted by all cast members doing their part. I did not even get frustrated with the core 2 misadventures of the cooking competition and Selma and Eren seem to finally be on the same page together with their own special brand of compromise. Halil realizing that Zeynep had not betrayed him but protected his sister from the mental issues of her gambling addicted husband. It was perfect in its everything and included every cast member. And we got plenty of grandma yesterday. What a weekend this has been. I am very excited and happy and ready for the drama of the loan sharks and what ever else might be coming soon because after this good certainly there will be some testing of all this deep love. I may even watch it again.

Already watched this episode twice already because it gives all the feels. I always watch the episode live with translator application open to catch what's going on but for today's episode I didn't need any help to understand that the pieces of the puzzle are finally falling in place. Finally the communication that the couple were lacking is finally there. Those two things that got revealed today are only the beginning of a stronger and a better relationship since they will stand by each other for better or worse 🤩🤩
