Hello video showing you how to Stealth Ports on a Router using open source firmware from LEDE / OpenWRT as a normal install will just have Closed Ports

Using the word stealth may throw off certain people. Most routers by default reject the connection meaning whoever is trying to connect knows that the connection was rejected and therefore something exists on the other end. Where as if the packets are silently dropped, the person trying to connect gets nothing back at all and they assume nothing exists on the other end.

Hey man how do I “UN-stealth” my ports ? There all stealth and my portforwarding doesn’t work it’s driving me actually insane I’m trying to do it for gaming

I have done your recommendations last year and it worked like a charm. However, I recently updated LEDE/OpenWRT and checked again. Surprisingly, the GRC test failed. Now it test port 0 sending raw data and detects a response from the router. I´m still researching for a solution.

Is this good for gaming? I believe it is and wont affect, since specific ports should be forwarded to the game/console anyways.

Port 21 FTP still shows closed and fails, all other ports now show stealth. How do I correct this issue with FTP ?(I'm running OpenWrt Chaos Calmer 15.05.1)

Dont suppose you have any experience with VM routers? Doesnt seem like an option to disable the ping

Hello, I still have the port 445 (MSFTDS) showing "closed". Is there a way to fix this?

Okay, I've done all and all show as stealth with the exception of FTP port which still shows closed but not stealth and so I still fail. How do I fix this?
