Hi everyone, it's Annabel, welcome back to my channel! Today we are finishing off looking at the orchids in bud and bloom for this month. Whereas I usually get them all out and do the 'Orchids in bloom' at the end of each month, this time I spaced it out over a few days and did it in three parts, to stop each video being too long. I think this format has worked well, at least for me, this month- let me know what you think!

I love your channel! The shorter videos seem better for me because I don't suffer from information overload. You have so much good information. I have been growing orchids for over 20 years and yet I always have something new to ponder after watching you. Thanks for sharing you orchid adventures.

I love your video's. Because of the covid19-virus I'm working from home the last two months. My home is not a sanctuary for calmness and relaxiation anymore. Watching your videos and other orchid channels and hearing you talking about your orhids is like a treat to my head. Thanks!

Hey dearest can you do a spotlight on the Miltonia flavescens? I couldn't see anything but the spikes! 😂 I'd love to see the plant as a whole and get a good look at its base and just how long those spikes are. As always great video! I am shocked the Lepanthes Telipogoniflora is doing good potted. I have ordered one. I am hoping I can grow it! 🤞

Hi Annabel. Great video and lovely to see all your lovely blooms 😊.

Could you please make a spotlight video on the Miltonia flavescens if possible? I have one of these that has new growths that seem to have stalled and I'm really curious how you care for yours and would like to see where the spikes emerge from too. Mine is blooming size within 12 months and I've only had it since November last year so maybe I'm impatient lol but I really don't know why the growths have stalled and would love to see a video on this species. Many thanks 😊.

BEAUTIFUL, as usual, wish i had your energy, im just struggling to get/keep my collection watered, let alone potted in my own pots, all circumstances beyond my control, hopefully someday soon ill have more time and my orchids can start to thrive

Everything looks great. I had that thing with the twinkle where the ends of the leaves degrade. This year I put it on a mount now growing lots of air roots and no drying ends even in my super hot Australian climate. The roots are behaving more like Tolumnia, very fine and lots of aerial. Just seems happier mounted. Dunno maybe they need lots more air in media than others.

Love the Gastrochilus. I tried growing mine outside, that didn't work very well. I should probably replace it.
The Ctsm denticulatum is gorgeous, as is Clo warscewiczii.

Keiki question: I have twin keikis on the top of a long inflorescence. The keiki was in flower (a completely different flower than the mother 😀) for 5 months. It has 6 fat, beautiful roots. The mother is a bit droopy with no new leaves, but has several new root tips. Is it possible to keep the two together or do I have to pot the keiki in order to save the mother? Thank you in advance for your consideration 😃

Hi Annabel!
What was your experience with Twinkles in the grow room? Did they spike/bloom all year depending on when the growths finished, or was there a seasonality?

Ooh, I've been meaning to ask: do you think Gemma LED grow lights (18W) would be enough to supplement oncidiums and cattleyas during winter? Right now they don't get extra, so some will be better than non 🙃 😅 I have a day light lamp that supplements most f my orchids but I have four windows with no additional light and I'm looking into changing that 😊
I've been looking at Ikea's Växer - do you have any experience with that one?
