On February 8, 2924, Jonathan Granoff, the President of Global Security Institute, delivered an address at a parliamentary hearing at the United Nations hosted by the Inter-Parliamentary Union titled "Putting an End to Conflicts: Prescriptions For a Peaceful Future."

He was joined by Costa Rica’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations H.E. Ambassador Maritza Chan Valverde, and UN Special Coordinator for Development Abdoulaye Mar Dieye.
