Super Yacht Crew Awards (Captain’s Vlog 15)

We attend the 2018 crew awards. We are nominated for 3 awards: Sustainability, Best Captain and best charter yacht crew. Fingers crossed. The event is hosted by Crew with many sponsors.

Agree on what the captain looks for. Skills & knowledge can be taught. Character is the foundation on which the skills/knowledge are built. And if the foundation isn't right, then even the basic framework won't stand up for long.

I'm over a year late. My first thought, when your OAO (One And Only) appeared dressed for the awards, I immediately thought, she should have worn a matching tux also.

I am starting from blog #1. I watch in batches of ten. I thoroughly enjoy your blog. I am a retired, former USCG issued 200 ton master. Total experience in the oil fields. You and I of course have to employ the same boat handling skills. But, that is where it ends. I am in awe of your organizational and leadership skills, especially to obtain your class of clients' satisfaction.
