I build the same! very fine computer and programming in C is very simple wie SDCC.

I have zêta sbc v2 board, i finished soldering all components, is anyone sill here to help me on how to build the cpm rom, i could nt figure it outside my programming level is very low i need help.thank you in advance.

I don't think you could get that CPU board more compact save to go SMD.
Just out of interest what chip handles the Z80 serial interface (before the MAX232 chip)?
