I have a 2WD Slash i upgraded from brushed to Brushless. It hauls butt. Definitely need to upgrade to the 272R transmission.

It's been heavily modified.

VXL 3500R Velineon Brushless motor and ESC, cooling fan, Aluminum caster/turn buckles/axle hubs, HD A-arms, LCG Chassis, HD Axles, Big Bore shocks running 3S Li-Po battery.

With my gearing I go 50MPH with my gearing.

I just ordered one of these in exact body from my local hobby shop. Should be a blast to drive around. While I have faster and bigger models like the Sledge, you can’t beat the simplicity and fun factor of a Traxxas Slash. And I have not yet driven a vehicles with the 272R magnum transmission upgrade so I’m excited!
