I love everything you said here. I have loved manson since I was 7 years old, and I am 31 today. He is still, and probably will always be, my biggest role model ever. I'm glad there was finally someone who said something, and stood up for the truth n_n

And he honestly more broadly understands the personality and less appearance based part of being goth than any of those self righteous fools lol on a count of the fact that is has an education in psychology he built his persona to support a community that was failing to gain the recognition it deserved at the time he branded the character for lack of better terms I am having a hard time to put it in to words more people than just I understand and can figure out what I mean. Probably failing miserably though I consider that possibility too. Lol! I’ll shut up

Marilyn Manson was like a gateway. Back in around 1999 when I was getting into alt music in general, Mason was one of the first I'd listened to. Then I'd experiment with black lipstick and actually look into goth music.
