My impression from watching games this past season was that while Bruener and House were stars, the others were barely adequate. The weakness at LB contributed to our wretched run defense. How many interceptions did Tuputala and Fowler make? Zero. Forced fumbles? Zero. So if you ask whether the LBs next year will be better than last year? We better hope so.

I guess I don’t really understand why Jacob Manu would be red shirting if he was injured in October. Why wouldn’t he still be ready to play by September 2025 at the very latest with only one year of eligibility left unless he wanted to be even more prepared for the 2026 season and showcase himself for the NFL draft.
