Amouage presents a new pair of fragrances by the name of Interlude. Interlude Woman and Interlude Man are said to evoke an air of disorder while maintaining a sense of balance and tranquility through the inventive use of incense and myrrh.
Christopher Chong said: “I interpret what I see and feel into scents. All the social and natural chaos and disorder surrounding us today can be translated to a much more intimate level. The interlude moment is a reflection of all the trials and tribulations one overcomes to attain personal satisfaction and achievement.” He also explained the use of ingredients: “Amouage has established an enviable reputation for re-inventing accustomed scents. Frankincense and Myrrh traditionally smell spiritual and religious but in Interlude, they have been reconstructed to feel contemporary yet sophisticated.”
Interlude Man is a spicy – woody fragrance that opens with zesty bergamot, oregano and pimento berry oil, perpetuating intervals of conflict which are countered by aromatic notes of amber, frankincense, opoponax, cistus and myrrh. Eternal notes of leather, agarwood smoke, patchouli and sandalwood in the base add lasting layers of depth and texture. Perfumer: Pierre Negrin.
Amouage’s signature glass crystal bottles are colored in a rich and mesmerizing midnight blue hue with gold plated decorations, accentuated with a sapphire blue Swarovski crystal. The outer packaging is designed in vibrant colors that show orderly chaos in abstract and conceptual representation.

I wish I liked bold & daring scent. I recognize the quality & care with which this was made. I respect the passion that the fragrance community has for this scent. Yet, this one just doesn't work for me. That's how it goes with the house of Amouage! They may have something for everybody but, everything they have ain't for Everyone! This is a very different and special scent. Absolutely strong. I mean absolutely and absolutely strong. Spray 3 times and it will choke you and everybody in 3m around you entire day long.

This fragrance does silent compliments. I mean people are getting closer to you. I was trying to like it for a half year or more and I couldn’t. I almost gave up. But I’ve just discovered how good Interlude recently and I fell in love with it after I had changed my mind that this one is just for me and myself but not to be nice for people around me. Understand me right. People liked this one on me before but I didn’t like it on myself. You just shouldn’t think about getting compliments wearing it. And the application. A lot of reviewers said about amount of applications but I’ve not seen who said the spots of applications. I used not to apply fragrances on my chest before. But when I occasionally sprayed Interlude on my chest.... the magic happened. I don’t know how to explain it. I guess the men’s skin chemistry on a chest area with this particular fragrance makes it magical. Good luck for everyone!

I read online that Interlude is for 30+ age groups but I’m 21 and I wear this. It’s great for a night out because literally everyone has Aventus or green Irish tweed on which are great fragrances too, I have both, but if you want to stand out this is the only one for the job. Love the suit man
