At 65, I’ve come to realize that avoiding people has become a necessary part of my life. In this video, I share my personal story of why I’ve chosen to distance myself from social interactions and the reasons behind this decision. As we age, we experience shifts in our needs, desires, and emotional energy. For me, avoiding people isn’t about being lonely—it’s about self-preservation and understanding my boundaries. Over time, I’ve learned the importance of solitude and the deep emotional impact of interactions that may not always be positive. I hope my experience resonates with those of you who might be going through similar feelings or are at a stage in life where social interactions are becoming harder. If you’re 65 or older, or even if you’re younger and struggling with social fatigue, you’ll find comfort in this message. Sometimes, we need to prioritize our own mental peace over societal expectations.

Watch to learn why I now choose to avoid people and how embracing this change has made my life more peaceful.

Excellent inspiring thoughts to ponder, I am 71 years old and my husband Physician is 76 years old, with is busy practice (he is a renowned medical doctor of this part ) I shouldered the entire family, household and fiancé, two sons who are great medical professionals now and settled, never said NO to anyone and anything and obliged everyone .Recent years I was finding it difficult to oblige, was in a dilemma, never said no .Age catches up, priorities change, your lesson or suggestion on saying ‘NO’ has impressed me a great deal, concept of saying NO as you said will metamorphosise me totally .
Grateful to Lord Sri Krishna, thanks to you 😊
Stay blessed .

Old Sayings: Never let being lonely tempt you into making bad friends. It is better to have no friends or a few good friends than bad friends
